Hello, welcome to my website and my series of novels, the Leopards of Normandie. After many years of planning, researching and dreaming – not to say writing and editing – I am delighted to find a digital home for my plots and imaginings. I want it to be useful, a place where you can find information about the novels, the regions where the stories are based and where you can discover suggestions for further reading. From Haugesund to Saxon England, from the Duchy of Normandy to the Kingdom in the Sun – the journey of the Fitzroys continues. I have made the stories as authentic as possible, spiking and marinating each tale with all manner of authentic detail. The hard rock of the lives of these hardy men and women have been mined and chiselled revealing the lustre of the ore from which legends are cast. The Fitzroys may be fictional characters but their inspiration is real enough.
